Walked into a Rainbow

I walked into a rainbow on Thursday
  and came out on Monday
Didn't matter what week or month
it's just that I was here

I heard my heart
  felt flutters in my stomache
sensed the chill of pending snow
heard the sound of fallen leaves
crunch beneath my toes

The prism of color from where I came
turned to muted greens and gold
Though not swift to move as such
my hands were thin and cold

Monday looks for Thursday
  the rainbow starts from here
I'm not sure what week, what month,
  or even of the
year...

Nicely done,  enjoyed the imagery.  Could
certainly feel the time of year...and
enjoyed the rainbow...

Where have you been?  We've missed you.  Welcome home...and thanks for the rainbow!  I felt like I had entered the space and time of Brigadoon!

Greetings to you all and thank you for the replies. I have been away much to long. The poetry on this site is truly a gift to me. I have missed reading and exchanging thoughts and ideas with each of you. Haven't been able to get here as much as I'd like. So thanks, for making me feel missed.

Hugs,
SG
