We burn towards a deeper shade
of blue.

As if the flame itself could not
contain the ice-hot vision of
this love.

Fire dances to its own mad
design.

And our every effort to be free...only
serves to feed the hunger of this
madness.

Nothing remains untouched.

We must all burn and fall away to
the ash blown winds of
uncertainty.

Only the fire stays behind.

In the center of the flame stands
the blue heart of desire.

It holds the secret of all that
ever burns.

To this...to the hidden taste
of fire -

We give ourselves completely.

To this...we burn towards
the deepest
blue.

Ericc, I have a blue poem that I hope to share with you someday - based on yours, I think you will like it, as much as I like this!

(smiles) Oh Eric, the blue flame is truly the more purer shade beneath the crimson, sweet friend, the red and orange is all the ardor, but it has to start somewhere and the blue is the core of it all! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is gorgeous, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eric, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

And, blue is my favorite color.
Thanks for this, Eric. I'm keeping it.

As long as we burn towards the deepest blue we are alive and we are LOVE.
Wonderful thoughts, masterfully expressed, dear Eric.
I love you. Margherita

Eric...you are not going to believe this, but it is true...I promise.  Today, I was working on a poem in my head and it was called, "Deeper Shade of Blue."  Honest!  I was thinking of Procol Harum's "Whiter Shade of Pale."  Do you know that song?

A wonderful write, Eric.  Just beautiful!
