Near golden sunsets

This stop and go, go and stop world;
grind and go, squeal and stop.
Speeding on, to fast to see the signs,
dodging and weaving;
brake fast, break faster.
On and on, on and on,
it's all been done before,
the first big wreck...
or the second, or third.
We know where it's going,
and we don't care why.
Get it all done,
we're all going to die.
And with a new great thought,
taking to your own new world,
where you're right, he's wrong,
and the man is out to get you...
but this time faster,
or slower, it doesn't matter,
and harder into the next wall;
the turn too fast,
the road too rough,
the red way too red.
Never your fault,
but isn't that the truth.
Put the blame where blame belongs
and blame it on the birds,
but now the birds will want you dead
and there's nowhere you can hide.
So stop shaking your head, your body,
your fist in my face,
it isn't going to help you.
I know where you sleep,
and I'll tell the birds
and we'll all be out to get you.

WOW!!! This one took my head on a fast ride clear to the end......it picked up momentum at the beginning, and never slowed for a second...nice job!! But, really...I hope the birds aren't out to get me...~S~

OK. that last line scared me a little. i like birds!! but back to the poem. everyone can realte and that is the best thing a poem can demonstrate in his work. u go!!
