Out Making Anticlines

you flow over me
like a tide
across the flats;

and I am helplessly
blessed, awash
in sudden beauty,
welling over with
your vibrant life,
my gray enmeshed
in a sparkling chaos
of color and tone
that swirls down
through sunlit
waves of you and
I rejoice, rejoice

even as
the world calls,
and

ebb begins....

This is just lovely, James.
I truly enjoyed the read.

Very beautiful.  Loved the way your words flow.

I knew I'd find some poem so beautiful it would be worth the days of waiting for PIP's resurrection... this is it. *S*

If only that ebb could be stayed... but perhaps knowing the tides bless for only a while keeps us appreciative of the blessings. *S* Wonderful work, sir! *S*

By the way... with one thing and another, I missed saying "Happy Anniversary" on the correct day... but let me remedy that with a late wish... For you've added much to these blue pages in the past month... and you also mentioned a series of books I've greatly enjoyed! *S* My ignored chores don't thank you... but I do!!! *S*
