Pick up the pen
Then let your words take shape from what
is churning deep within
Emotions from your human soul add fuel to poet's fire
To nourish every writer's main desire...

Write what you know
Your thoughts become a canvas upon which
your heart will show
The greatest art in life was never painted in a day
So take your time, then say what you must say...

You're not alone
Sometimes all inspiration seems it's sprouted wings and flown
Frustration can be just the tool
to open what's within
But it only works if you pick up the pen!

Thanks Sy, and it was more like advice to myself, as I have been without a puter lately, and I needed to push myself into picking up my pen!!! Glad you liked it!! ~S~

Good morning!  --though I suppose it is afternoon over there in merry olde England!

I'm glad you picked up your pen today! I enjoyed the fruits of your labor of love, dear poetess!

'Your thoughts become a canvas upon which

This is the perfect thought of what many of us attempt to portray through our writing~

You do it soooooo well sweet poetess~

HI Sunny, it seems like there is something I want to say right now, about a certain subject-but it is stuck. Can I borrow your pen?
