*** This is about my first winter in Huntington, Long Island, NY. Hope you like it.***

Huntington Bay

Ascending taunting knoll streets
Rife with winter stillness
Lined with naked birch, elm and other leafless beings
This soul yearns to soar above them all
Then dive below to an icy darkened pond
Still beyond this winter blue realm
One must pay homage to a watery mistress
For her only companions
Are a jealous poet and some silly gulls
Consider the mental relics of this journey
Then properly label it Huntington Bay

I have only my genius to declare!
