In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2003-08-09 08:30 PM

Blind passionate path
    of my reclaiming
while the night collects,

    patterns of voices echo

caressing whispers
filling cracks
of winding thoughts

Faded memories of time
    wrapped in silk
to awaken in dreams of peace
    each time without regret

Like a blossom
the bud of a yearning rose
    protected from ag
ing
to be forever yours
forever shared

Remind my lips of flavors
another instance of embrace
I want to touch that point of reflection
between heaven and earth

Licorice skies;
gumdrop's rainbow
    sugar highs
until all eyes hang low
and the night mu
st rest

    so we may face
each hearts delight
these dreams I will taste

    with you

The way you move me
I walk with your shadow
With your silhouette
Leave the light on
It always comes
Back to you

Applause both of you on this duet. Very well done.
I found this verse especially striking...very crisp in it's enchantment.

You two write the romance so well.
Loved this slow dance that you did,
you moved me with your combined grace.

Just beautiful!!

Lauren and Craig, this is very beautiful. I
especially liked this part....

Licorice skies;
gumdrop's rainbow
    sugar highs
until all eyes hang low
and the night must rest

    so we may face
each hearts delight
these dreams I will taste

    with you

I hope you two will do another one?
Hugs to you both

awesome!

I wish I had time and patience to do a duet, but it seems impossible for me to sit down

I adore this one. Great job, you two.
