Obscure, hidden
     What is seen?
But nothing
     To be found

Feign, camouflage
     What fakers do?
They attract you
     Far from yourself

Incognito, conceal
     Why?
It doesn’t matter
     You are who you are

__________
Very few people have understood the hidden meaning in this poem. Maybe some of you can.

You may only be one person to the world, but you may also be the world to one person.

Well, what I see here is the true facts, that society and the media push the fake images at us all, like we are suppose to look and be someone they designate.  Why bother...just be yourself...I love this line of thought, and wish everyone would grab hold of it!  Great write, and much enjoyed by these eyes!!  ~S~

If Sunnyone didn't hit the nail on the head, then e-mail me because I'd sure like to know what your meaning IS behind this poem...as my thoughts were in tune with hers...

Thanks for sharing, Lexia!
