~*~

Feeling my way through a dark tunnel
falling between a warm rush and a whispered hush
water glistens while running down a stream
optical illusions unseen with the naked eye
defining lines etched in glass.

Breathing deep between breaths
skimming along the edge unknown
embraced by the trickle down effect
filling my needs with a clarity
cuts both ways and holds me under.

Brushing up rough and smooth
carries over distant dreams
rippling beneath the surface
as a single tear escapes and pulls me back
a hopeful light seeps through the cracks.

Exposing reality in the silence
voices echo from the past
releasing my emotions
in full aware
my love has run it's course at last.

~and I can breathe~

Wow! My breathing was affected as your words threw me through the black tunnel, under water and finally into the light again.
Incredible imagery.
Breathing freedom with you.
Love and hugs. Margherita

Breathing deep between breaths
skimming along the edge unknown
so soft, and tender...as only you can.....enjoying you...

I walk with your shadow
With your silhouette
Leave the light on
It always comes
