                              delightful meadows
                              of dewy green grass
where brooks slip, full of life,
                                                over pebbled rocks
                              dancing to rhythms of
                              warm Savannah airs
and all I wish, is that
                                                you keep me there
                              to shine in shimmers
                              of dazzling rays
                                                just give me this day
                              of gliding through

slide next to me my friend,
                              on this eager     park bench
that begs us to share the dream
                              let's enjoy this dance
                                                and the time of us
                              before the rain
                                                 comes pouring
                                                             down,
                              for moments rule this world
                                                through the pulsations
                                                of our hearts
                              and the fixations
                                                of our minds

while seasons, though they must change
our hands would stay the moment
                                                                               before the skies turn gray

                              and in agree, we believe,
                              that nothing's lovelier
                              than nature in full swing

I knew I recognized that bench... but not until the end did I know your duet partner... so your collaboration succeeded so very well! *S*

Beautiful poem... I curtsey to you both. *S*

What can I say but... WONDERFUL! You two did a great job. You'll have to write some more together.

You got room on the bench for me?   Slide on over Sunny Owl.  I need to possess your optimism, Sudhir...Karilea. Can't we please make it a trio? This is just a taste of your wonderfuls wisdoms...I demand more.  So, slide your lil' behinds on over. Recite another one of these beauties for me!

LOVE THIS!  A keeper to be dropped in my treasure box!

Sigh Sudhi and Karilea, your poem is very beautiful and very serene. I doubt that there is any room on that there bench so I'm going to sit on my picnic blanket layed out in front of you and listen. So more please.

Thank you Sudhir, for this delightful exchange.  I knew that bench was special...as I knew the photo of it had to be shared more than once.  The challenge of a duet is a marvelous thing...it truly opens our worlds!
