Etched in the illusion of time

0 posted 2003-08-04 12:25 PM

feverish sleep
the entanglement of benighted hands
binding
silvery threads are woven carefully
into my head
mixed with raven hair
still dusted by the stars

dare I awake,
and let reality steal me?
no, give in to fallacy a little more

the illusion of you
is much too sweet
in this harsh world of embittering lies

but no more than
illusion

the trail left from a song of weariness
stays lingering 'pon my tongue
as I escape from Eden's gardens
running,
away
begging the sun ne'er to rise again

for you and I
are no more than sweet, sweet lullabies
living in dreams
and writing our stories through intangibility

the unfathomable melody
of the sky's fading pride

my star child,
as you wait for the cradle to
break apart
remember me
please, oh please
will you remember me

my soul is stain'd by the waxing and waning
the ebb and flow
of moon-guided waters

night sky

blemished horizon

but nay, maybe 'tis true that when morning comes
you will hear my heartenedplea

For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch,
And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.--"Romeo and Juliet"

absolutely beautiful....I hope those memories will forever be filled with virtue and strength, courage and thoughts of goodness between the two of you forever.  Lovely
