Beauty unseen, doubtful.
When things meant more to one than the other
When things become unloving, and shoutful
When the hurt leaves an unkind smother.

All is not what it seems,
No it's not always.
Maybe one saw love, and hopes, and dreams.
The other just saw it as frolic, and play.

Dalliance? There's not a chance
When the heart was real, and could feel
One saw it as more than an eyes glance.
The other wanted a lifes dance.

So please don't criticize
Try to see through others eyes
What one thinks is just play day
While the other hanging on every word the other had to say.

SharaRose,

Yes, this is true. We precieve things so differently. Thank you for this poem, it reminds me of how vurnable we are and what we see is not always what is.

Very sensitive writing.

Hello all... I noticed all seemed to have a common thread. All saw this as wise words. Well I don't know how wise they are, but are what I was feeling at the time, and felt I needed to write about it. I am so glad all of you could see wisdom in them. Thanks for that.

Passing shadow-- I hope when you took them to heart it was in a way that would help you.

Ceinwyn- Thanks for the nod, and smiles. Here's a smile back

gemjop--You live and learn. I wanted to thank you for the little smiley with the heart. That was a nice gesture.

Patricia-- I am glad you see them as wise, and truth...they are truth that happened in my life. Just sharing them so someone else may not feel alone if it has happened to them

SimplyGold-- Yes we have to have our guard up if we aren't aware it was just play time we are vulnerable. I don't think it's something that should be held against the other person for ever and ever, but you can't get forgiveness if they don't accept.

Love to all of you, and thanks again,

Thanks BC... Like I was saying I don't know how wise they are, but they are words that I felt came from an experience I went through. That is all, but thank you for reading, and the comment. Personally I don't think they are so wise. I think this is something everyone knows. I just happened to express it, that is all.

Thanks Sue...Yes I think it happens to many. But some accuse the other of not appreciating the good that was at one time there. It gets overpowered, or overwhelmed with all the crushing blows.

I appreciate you stopping to read, and comment. Bless ya!

Shara, this is true. Sometimes the situation is exactly like this...then, someone is bound to get hurt. You wrote this very well. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Thanks Ethel..I started crying when I read your comment. Your timing was perfect. It's almost the end of the day, and I think I needed to read at least one more comment for this write, and now I have. It gave me a release inside. I found myself sighing in relief. Who knows why I just couldn't seem to get peace about this one. Thanks again for the words that encouraged me. Bless you so much for this. You are a sweetie.

Thanks Kaoru, and Skyfire. I appreciate you reading, and your words to encourage. Seems it was VERY unpopular to have emotions in this relationship. I grew to find, [in time] that I was supposed to *know* all this persons intentions, and I was supposed to feel that same way. Well I didn't. I had feelings. I had emotions, so I wasn't just there for play. Thanks again. I do feel much better after hearing from the 2 of you, and Ethel. It really helped me. to you all.
