Thoughts From Makakilo Cliffs

Up on Makakilo Cliffs the tradewinds
are blowing good tonight, but wayward
spirits are not treating me right.
My goal to take charge of the pain
and strife, once and for all to
make the right choices in my life.
Mistakes and consequences taking a toll,
and my heart wants a warm place to go.

She told me I don't love her.
I don't really care.
I have no real
love to share.
Does she want me to
love her romantically?
Should I be in love
with her personality?
Should I love her the
same way she loves me?

No answers are coming to me.

Wait, I know what to do.
Go live the life of a beach
bum until I get over you.
And since you enjoy saying
we're through I'll hang out
with some cute surfer girls
that look nothing like you.
Party all night and see
what kind of trouble I can
get myself into.

Then again, perhaps I could fit
myself back into the arms of you, or
I could take forever to get over you.

Ah, James...which direction will you choose, I wonder? For some reason, I think there should be a sequel to this!! Whichever way you go, at least you can do it in Paradise, eh?? Much enjoyed reading you, and dreaming about the Cliffs!!! ~S~

Relationships can be a chore...not sure if I should tackle the problems or if they are trying to tell me something...all relationships have problems...but what is the norm...James

love this line i think everyone feels like this sometimes. just fed up with doing things the hard way, being stressed out at work and you just want to jump into your bed.

first i was angry at her, but i started laughing when i thought you were going to get revenge.

Think we all think like that mostly because we have had our feelings and pride hurt.

This was a great write and i cant wait to see what you comeout with next
