I can’t forget, you hung the moon
and the stars, only sparkle in my eyes
when I look at you....
The horizon sings to me
a lullaby, in hushed echoes
and my heart, harkens
in remember reverence
seasons pass too soon
this, I now realize
and let the song, carry me though
twilight is gentle
and approaches, as a sonnet
it’s your voice I hear
reading to me, a sigh
and my soul answers,
I love you....

Susan, isn't it wonderful when someone's heart
speaks to you as if it is reading to you? You know, I know.
Some things never leave us, do they?
Hugs to you, sweet lady,

SEA - you do write from the heart. I wonder what it would be like if someone did so for me...

Do you realize that you are the ONLY person who actually makes me sigh at the end of a poem (that is a good thing by the way) Oh Susan, this was delightful!

Reading this made me long to hear, too.

Lovely write.
