Focus your gaze and you shall see
many layers of life in the bonsai of me.
Twisted branches curving gracefully,
gnarled by life sagaciously.

I tried to fight the twists and turns,
the ties that bound,
forcing me to bend un-naturally.

But focus your eyes carefully
and you shall see
within all my twisted imagery,
the bonsai is the truth of me.

You know that the Bonsai is one of the most misunderstood of all hobby trees?  It does have its twists and turns this is true, but it has beauty beyond compare when the eye takes the time to study it.  I think that perhaps through the twists and turns there might just be natural beauty that is quite visible to the eye.  I see it!  Great work Kacy, I really enjoyed this one.

Thanks, friends!
I love bonsai plants, and glad that you all see it as a truly beautiful plant art form.
The traditional Japanese form also honors a spiritual concept when the design is layered into three branches, each on a differernt plane. The highest brach represents the spiritual realm and the soul, the middle branch is man's existence, and the lower branch represents Mother Earth, and all of nature.
