There is a devil in your moonlight
whispering his ways of passion
that only few will ever know.
Hear his laughter steal away your soul...
imp that hides in your heart's misty, moors.
He rises on the Face of the Moon
waving out his beams of light,
causing them to rain upon your heart.

Can't you hear his laughter in the mists
of a sultry, Moon-filled night?

Can't you hear those notes of love
rising out of his sterling stars?

Listen for the Moon devil
who lives inside your moonlight,
who beckons you to dance upon
his waves of opalescent desire
which have crested in the regions
of the soul, have splashed against
the piles of mischief erected
on the sea of your Moon-beamed soul.
