Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2003-07-08 05:56 AM

Laughter a song,
Love, friends,
Goodbyes never end,

Mourning comes to heart,
as day comes by night,
eagles leave their nest,
so must I take flight,

Memories I leave thee,
My heart, blood, tears,
Departure brings sadness,
If one soul was touched,
within that, I leave in gladness,

Do not look for me,
You shall not find me,
I am now but a vapor,
mist inside your eyes,
a memory of mind,

Hearts break,
lives die,
Emptiness alive,
Tears cry,
Pain inside,
Today, tomorrow, forever,
Goodbye.........

(Thanks to all who read my poetry and replied, and for the ones who read it and didn't, thanks for allowing me to be free, and be a part of this family, circle or friends....maybe someday you will see me again? another time, another place...
another face...love and hugs to all!)
My Heart must be closed now....Goodbye!

Why would you want to close your heart?
It has been a great joy to follow your heart's whispers to your love. (when I came in, do not have much time).
Words like a waterfall, overflowing with enchantment.
Hoping to see you again dancing on these pages.

Love, Margherita

Hearts never fully close...although we can believe that they do.
Sometimes our hearts must hibernate.
Yet only briefly.

The trick in love and life is to open fully. Open to the pain as well as pleasure. Breath through the hurt, allow your beauty to flow from your exhale.

We can't hide from pain.
But we rise to greater heights...untold heights...by being aware of its message.
Pain always asks for love...to love more, to love deeper.
And all love starts with self-love.
Soon we realize that everyone is of the same "self".
And we are only loving one.

Your words are beautiful.

Oh, no! Say it cannot be so! Goldenrose said in one of his replies that he will soon be leaving us as well! The romantic poems and replies that the two of you wrote were such a joy to read. You will both be sorely missed!

I wish you well with all future endeavors!

I guess what you must do must be done but never is a heart closed, never!  If pain has been absorbed use it well, and take it with you to the next visit of love to be ready to avoid the same pain.

I enjoyed your poems to each other and don't ever let anyone stop you from writing love poetry - there is not enough love in this world and it was refreshing to read yours, so thank you for sharing it with us.

Good luck to you wherever you may go, and remember, keep that heart opened up to the knowledge it needs to survive.

Thank you! everyone, I just need a break for awhile, maybe two weeks or more.(After all Goldenrose and I were posting too many poems)I love all of you...I just need some time at the moment to get renewed....like a semi- vacation..somewhere i can go and have peace and serenity...
I will be back....I have to put some major, important things in my life into proper perspective.....Hugs and kisses..

Love, Millette

Millette, I'm getting very used to seeing and reading your love potry. I enjoy it very much. You are an excellent writer and have the heart to write of romance. Please don't quit writing Love poetry, even if it's not about your own personal love. You have love and compassion in your heart and because of that it sounds real whenever you write of it.

I didn't reply to your poems to GoldenRose a lot of times, but I did read them....and enjoyed them very much.

I read in one of your replies that you will be back in a couple of weeks. I certainly do hope so. There are a lot of people here who will miss you and your writing. And, oh yes, I will miss your replies to my love poems, too. I was beginning to depend on you to have nice words to say.

Good luck and rest up and hurry back!!!
Heart hugs to you
Ethel
