Set Me Free

The feelings I was
having for her
weren't the feelings
she was having for me.

I was reluctant
to let her go
but truth desired
to set me free.

He set me free.
He set me free.
He broke the bonds
of prison from me.
I'm glory bound
my Jesus to see.
Glory be to God.
He set me free.

An oldtime Gospel
song.

James - this has got to be the saddest and most beautiful writing I have read from you so far . . .
God . . . it just slaps you in the face
bittersweet indeed

...."truth desired to set me free" ...
and well you did to surrender!

Wisdom displayed beautifully.
