Surprise gift comes in special cases
Bottom of the barrel, in various vases
open the wrap, untie the bow
forget the past...a hated foe

Cream colored to match the decor
buy me, get me...I need much more
exclusive model carried in style
pick the bunch...a trash dump pile

get me one toy doll and then its mate
in a special case for them to date
they must be nifty, popular on the block
surprise gift...spontaneous, ad hoc.

Buy me please..or I will cry
aggressive tears cascaded from on high
to form a lake... to drown my sorrow
and leave my house of no tommorrow
