* * * *

Love grows just like a flower
Beneath the clear blue sky
The warm winds embrace us
Upon golden sands we lie

Your love could fill an ocean
Stretching far across the sea
It moves gently with the tides
Into the heart and soul of me

How I bloom when in your radius
With you I walk upon the air
You show me in so many ways
How much you really care

We sail upon the ocean
As the sun fades from our view
And as we ride the waves of passion
I find that I'm anchored in you

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Sue, this is so lovely and so well written.  And, of course, you know how I love ocean references.  I like the picture you chose, as well.  mmm mmm

This is your signature poem Sue.
Transported me along on the fairy tale romance of the piece.  Always wish you these depths, and steady anchor. Well done. TD

This is so beautiful, Sue...

My own theory of love (which is pretty old fashioned), is that a man is like a harbour where we can dock at to avoid the stormy seas, or to re-fill our fuel tank... So, I totally agree with you here...

I find that I'm anchored in you"
