It was not my intention
to come-hither without warning
I was careless in passing
crossing over the line.

How reckless I was
to be batting my eyes
without taking caution
seems my vision went blind.

I have no excuses
to fain or disguise
I'm numb to the pain
without a claim to remise.

I've no one to blame
the mistake was all mine
crashing and burning
misleading myself.

I should learn to slow down
when the bridge starts to narrow
paying heed to the warnings
and look out below.

In time I'll recover
from this sudden windfall
and straighten out my wrong turns
to avoid hitting the wall.

Aww Nancy you've got such a big heart,
thank you for the nice comments.
I'm not feeling too fantastic right about
now, the truth is,  I'm thinking
I should be checking myself in and get some help!

Hugs to you sweet one~

We can't help ourselves. However how else would we know were we not to venture? Understood and enjoyed.

BluesSerenade~ Love can be blind as some say.
Many times it can lead you astray.
Take care and trust your heart to lead the way.
For true love will always stay
Enjoyed...Paul

(big hugggsssssssss) Oh Lori, I know just what you mean, I'm not crazy, I'm just lacking focus and I can't help but steer poorly with the tears welling in my eyes! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is heartfelt, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lori, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I always enjoy your take of all the things we so often face, and sometimes ignore.

Most creative expressions from you. *S*

I may be  wrong, but this doesn't sound "reckless". Sounds more trusting, not always a bad thing.

Lori, I've run quite a few "caution lights", where life is concerned, too.....
I know exactly what you're saying...

Yes, crossing over that line...even though we know better...temptation gets the best of our good sense....

BluesSerenade,

How is one ever to know unless we take risks. Yes, sometimes we stumble and sometimes we fall but, sometimes we discover much about ourselves as a result. I ejoyed this read very much. I especially like the flow and the pattern. Good thoughts to ponder.

It's nice to have company when I'm feeling
lost.
Thank you all for watching out for me,
it makes it so much easier to find my way back!

It means a lot to me~
