Be still my love, invest in me
sight your rhymes and all you feel
write a song of symphonies
crash your symbols close together,
darling dance with me.

Surrender me in the dark of night
run your hands across my heart
hold me up beneath the stars
serenade me 'til the morning hours,
gentle as the wind chimes.

While shadows blend in pastel colors
we'll paint a sunrise of our own
above the sky in shades of blue
beyond the forest through the trees,
seen through evergreens.

Come dream with me
tucked undercovers
quiet the sound of pounding thunder
stay by me when I'm afraid
spill the moon across the sea.

~and let the music play~

Sweetie...by your picture alone, my dreams under the covers with you would be deleted by these moderators or at the very least moved over to the adult forum!!!!...But I liked your poem almost as much as your photo...now then, I'll cut and paste and print and take ya home and dream!!!

Watch the way you're cutting, and go easy on the glue...wouldn't want to get stuck having to explain anything.

You are quite the comedian ...and I'm always up for a good laugh.
Thank you I think.

Happy New Year to you and your toerag...
don't leave home without it!!!

Oh, shame, shame.  You must not encourage these scoundrels, my dear.

And, oh my sister!  Six months have I been gone, and not one word to your dear brother?  Have you forgotten me already?  I am crushed.  Send my regards to the rest of the family.

I like the poem too.

This Diamond~ These guys are trying to rattle me and I am forgetting where I was and where I'm supposed to be.  Maybe it's time to log off, ya think?  Thank you very much for reading...and for all your good wishes.

Skyfire~ Oh that just makes my day, so glad I could set the mood for you, even if it is only a mindset.  Thank you for saying what you said, I appreciate your thoughts on the subject.  Happy 2003 to you~~~

Mmmm...I seem to have stepped in something again.  Please forgive me.  This is a very bad joke.  The joke goes, "I'm not your sister."  And I say, "No, but we could still be related.  I was in Venture in '68.  Where was your mother?"

As I say, this is a very bad joke.  However, we do appear to have something in common.  Please feel free to email me if you want an honest talk.  Sisterly to brotherly.

Thought I'd read the best of you today, "Red Ribbon", but I'm begining to see that your "best" is only "the best" until the next piece you post.

If I were to dream (...not me, naw...never!),
I'd have to sit beside you, pretend I was the one of whom you speak, lose myself in your eyes, your heart...your soul - be complete, in, of, and for you...and that's only based upon this beautiful piece your wrote.

If I were to dream...I would surely dream, of you.

jwesley

...and besides that...I like it!

All of this is beautiful, but my favorite part is the perfect ending
Come dream with me
tucked undercovers
quiet the sound of pounding thunder
stay by me when I'm afraid
spill the moon across the sea.

Great write!!!

Thanks Dixie...I guess I am prone to being intense,  so long as it comes out beautiful~

Martie~  Thanking you for reading it with love,  and caring enough to let me know.

Chris~ I want a boz stereo system so I can blast it!
Thank you for hearing my music~

Salty Girl~ As you might guess the sea has a special meaning to me.
Thanks for liking it.

Sandra~ Some days my words flow with a sweetness
and other days......they just lay down and die!
Thanks for reading~

Kacy~  Music is a many splendored thing and I like singing along!
(which explains the funny looks I get when I'm stopped at a red light)

Thank you Donna....I am always so happy to hear from you.

Lauren~  Thank you dear friend.... You caught me on a good day when I was all dressed up with no where to go.     Warm hugs to you always~
