I've been "Christmassing" all this day,
and baking, cooking, having my way
with no one here to have their say...
and to top it off, it's snowing... Its lay
upon this eve, I'm happy tonight
with tomorrow in wait and the beautiful white
that adorns the scene, in softness of view
and I'm off right now, to my dreams of you.

I'll be dreaming about you too sweetheart.
Well, that's only fair isn't it? If you're going to dream about me then I should be entitled to dream about you.
Have a nice holiday!

Now why would you want to wrestle with a 260 lb grey haired old poet with creaking limbs?
Oh my, someday I'm going to have to have a long talk to you.........smile

It all sounds so good though........
Santa said he wouldn't deliver me to you....said I wasn't very elflike and probably was as lazy as I look....I hate when I get figured out that easily.....grin

Thanks Ethel..in fact I am  a pretty good cook (when I wish to be) and unless Ethome has wings(which I sometimes think he does) he can't get to Pennsylvania that easily from Canada...and I am not so sure he would wish to be shut in with me, since we are having a snowstorm  tonight and into tomorrow.
I wish for you a very wonderful holiday, too.

Oh I don't know about that shut in situation. Sometimes that can be real cozy.
Snowed in and in front of a fire nice meal and........the conclusion of this story can be found in the imaginationville journal published yearly right around this time.
Subscription cost....lonely....that's all you need.....let your mind do the rest.....You see I'm trying to sneak my way into those dreams in the original poem that started all of this wonderful banter.

Happy holidays to you indeed maureen

Oh I can have a good holiday all by myself..I prefer the company of others, but I like being with myself..so I talk to me and have a wonderful time...

and yes, I also answer myself...if I don't, who else will???
did you really send something, 'cause I don't see a thing ;(
