Lost in thought

Inside: the mechanical forces control.
The pain cuts deeper than flesh and soul.
On outside smiles, laughs and cheers;
She hides her pain and hides her tears.

And each time she’s alone she cries
For no one’s there to wipe her eyes.
She loves her friends and family,
She knows the Truth will set her free.

But the torment, torture, and all the pain
Have deceived her: leaving only shame.
And now she’s trapped living a life
Where despair cuts hearts: as a knife.

Living, breathing, blinking even;
She hopes and prays: for she believes in
God almighty, the Holy Father
A Sweet Protector, she is His daughter.

(this I wrote awhile ago. I know its a depressing post, sorry! ..but I did still have hope, and God, through friends, helped me and still does.)

Yes it is a sad one...but captured  emotions and true feelings.  A very well done write.

It is sad.. But it is extremly beatiful.. And it must have taken a while to wright, or perhaps only a minute? lol...  Because normally when you are down is when you can write the best poem... Good job.

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

Sad and depressing? NO WAY! This is a wonderful tribute to God.  When we ~can't~, then, HE WILL, in His own time, if we have faith. Sometimes, He, through friends, through a written word, a personal experience with Him....He has as many ways of delivering us, as people recognizing their need for a higher power....cause they just can't do it alone....

True it takes surrender and acceptance of our inability....

And, in the waiting for Him to act, is how we develope patience, and perseverance and faith, etc. These are just my opinions, but, they work for me.

GG, I like this a lot! Enjoyed!

Hugs and warm regards, Pat
