Beyond the Ark

What was it like aboard the Ark,
As it went floating through each dark
And stormy night?   Did those on board
Inwardly question where the Lord
Was taking them and did they fear
Their destiny and shed a tear?

Or were they sure as they could be
That He'd release them and they'd see
A fair new land, where they would thrive
And keep His teaching all alive?
I can't imagine such array
Of birds and creatures on display!

Imagine how it must have been
To find a country lush and green.
How gladly then, they must have voiced
Their gratitude while they rejoiced
In their own way, to know that He
Had saved them for His prophecy.

We know they found what each would need,
So they went forth and like a seed,
Each specie grew and multiplied.
God watched them and He was their guide.
The world has changed so much, but still
We bow our heads, before His will!

(smiles) Oh Betty, this is beautiful, sweet friend, I have heard and cherished the story of the Ark so much and am just amazed at how life prospered just like that, to the menagerie of nature and life we love today! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Betty, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I love the structure of this.  You made it flow so wonderfully that it was easy and relaxing to read.  The theme of a curious musing works excellently with such a relaxed tone.

Very nicely done.

its so humbling to see how God always makes things work out perfect...
and its only when we get involved that things get out of order and fail.

I really liked this a lot. It made me wonder about the animals as well as Noahs perspective. I never really thought about it like yhat before. Thank you for giving me a new perspective.

Enjoyed this Write. I think we can honestly be judged by the way we treat ourselves, fellow man, and the animals we learn from.
