Lord, Place a Little Soldier upon My Shoulder
        to remind me.. Be thankful
        for this day so beautiful
and that You are the way
        each and every day

Loved This!!!!!!!!!!
I ask God for a Jimeny Cricket sometimes.
There are so many poetic prayers I find on here; it would be great to just have a book on prayer type poems.  God bless you -

Melton~
I just love this~
I read it *smiling* at remembering my Great Grandmother telling me that she would ALWAYS be on my shoulder ... just in case God was sleeping~

She's been keeping His voice-vigil in my ear for all my life~
Sometimes I reach up and stroke her wings~

Thank you for this gentle reminder~
