It’s late at night, and I’m alone
Looking, searching for my home
The eve is cold, the wind is chill
The moon is gone, the noise is still

Oh, what a journey is for me!
What difficulty must I see
Before I make it to my rest
As I travel, doing my best

On I walk through path designed
For me to tread, perhaps I’ll find
My home out there, beyond that space
I’ll come to my beautiful resting place

But nay, not death, the fate of soul
I speak of contentment, for I know
The One who whispers love to me
Will have more in my destiny

More than this wandering I know
‘Tis all designed to make me grow
For when it’s done, I’ve reached the goal
Then I’ll understand, I’ll know

Then the path won’t be so dark
I don’t traverse with broken heart
For then I’ll understand my soul
Myself, my friend… I’m not alone

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be
Lord, let me never ever
Outlive my love for Thee

Lovebug - I always enjoy your work.  Great poem dealing with trust in God.  If we all could just learn to.  Oh and by the way - great pic - I need to get mine up so all can see my ugly mug.  Thank you and God bless you - Tim
