Tired eyes
Watches out from the darkness,
Detecting,
Reflecting
Memories of his madness.
People pass
Never cast
A happy eye to see him,
Unconcerned
He is spurned
As if he had never been;
Tired eyes
Close to instill the sadness.

Now why have you made me
think of mirrors...
ah, shadows and light...
and reflected images.

Thank you, Sunshine
perhaps it's because eyes are the mirror of the soul.

Alone though in a multitude!
How very ironic isn't it?
Thanks for sharing!
God bless!

Yes, madness is sadness... no matter who sees it and who doesn't....

the ones who don't are usually the ones who have it the most...

Enjoyed.

Thanks,
Pat

I love this poem
words portray astory
shared emotions join it together

Take a good look at my face
Well, don't my smile look out of  place
look a little closer its easy to trace
The tracks of my tears
