eyes blinked open
to the light of you

silking slyly through senses
sentencing me
to life

where this shudder initiates
our warm beginning,
capturing the “oh, my”
whisper

where my soul’s dance
lingers on the ledge of discovery,
still air carrying to you
the sound of a silent
gasp

and you feel it too…

and you know
