Family Portrait
By Larry Chadwick

It seemed innocent enough,
Never even thought about fluff.
After all, such a clever picture,
Would be a fun memory for sure.

So we lined up on the couch,
Making sure no one was a grouch.
Then she climbed on board,
A picture worth a thousand words.

Now I’ve been quite wrong before,
But this time was really hard to ignore.
Yup she did…she passed gas,
Mother or not she was on her #%&.

Kacy,
It was under construction and is fixed smartie pants. Now you'll understand the poem!

LOL. What a funny family. Laughter heals, so this family snapshot and poem should be posted in every doctors office.

Hehe. I 'pass' by Porter Adventist Hospital almost daily, want me to drop off a copy?
Maybe if laughter were as contagious as staph germs we could win all Life's battles?

Kacy,
Sure but I am a member of the church that owns and operates the place. Probably get recognized!

Now Larry, surely you were mistaken….women do not pass gas…it must have been one of your brothers, and your Mom got the blame for it!!!!
Great pic’s to accompany the poem by the way. Looks like it was lot’s of fun, even if it was a bit of an assault to the nostrils!!!

This is quite creative. The pics and the poetry, a good balance.

Laughter is my favorite state of mind.

Thanks for this.

Names!  I want names of all of the victims!  I want the name of the accused, as well!

Larry,

This was too funny first thing in the morning.  What a lovely pic. A handsome family, all laughing and sharing time, sharing love, and oh well that thing too.

Kacy,
That depends on whether they see you or smell you!

Ethel,
It was a lot of fun. Then and now. Thanks.

Tracey,
I knew that was true of woman from the south. But the north? Thanks.

Pat,
Ours too! And thank you.

Karilea,
Victims first: Ted, Rob, David(the coward that fled) and me! The accused: Marie! ROTFLMBO Thanks for the fun.

Nancy Lee,
Nothing beats family! And you are so right. Thanks. Glad you enjoyed too.

Sy,
Well ya' know...when I was a kid they were a big production if we did them. Aaand they had to be called "putsies" not "f****". So revenge is sweet! Thanks.

Linda,
LMBO Too funny. Thanks for sharing the fun.

WR,
Yup, we share it all. LOL It was a ton of fun. That's my mom. Thanks.

Noah,
You should know by now I'm hopeless! And thanks for participating in the fun.

Larry, you are indeed one very lucky man to have such a wonderful, loving and enjoyable family. Although, I'm hoping your Mom has a great sense of humor as well as smell!!!

I am having a lot of enjoyable moments with you and your family this morning.

Thank you, hugs, Marti

Marti,
When we did the power point photos for dad's funeral...we had a butt shot in it. Mom just snickered and never said a word. She's a great sport. But then again with the for men in her life what choice did she have? Thanks so much.

Martie,
With a nose plug no doubt! Thanks.
