somebody's dungeon

Dark laced words from inside,
where fear does hide,
I keep,

Quiet,

in my core,
and I can't bring myself
to prostitute these secrets,
even for you.

Anne, this has a lot of thought in it. I may talk a lot and write a lot about my life, but I also have some "secrets" that I don't talk about either. Doesn't everybody?!?

Hummm!!!!  I wonder??? Thanks for sharing this, sweet "Rose".

Love To All,
Ethel

I DO like this one a LOT!     Write on!

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

Thank you Donna for your nice response.

Bob, so nice of you to say. I am in actuality, a coward.

Ethel, we all have those little secrets. The ones that are best kept that way. Thanks for reading and responding.

Aguste, thanks so much. Glad you liked it lots.

Storyteller, I'm so glad you enjoyed what I didn't say. Thank you for reading and responding.
