Angels

It is only around this time of year...
That almost every single house will foster an angel
Even in the most broken of homes, the fighting will stop for at least one day
And gifts will be given away in a sort of ritualistic peace offering, for all the bad things we have done and said all year
And for once someone will hear silence in a house full of screams
And a child will be able to sleep the night before without hearing a thud or a whimper outside their door.
For those who do not believe, for one reason or another, that we are visited by divine spirits...
not even on Christmas;
That's fine.
Whatever it takes, (be it a Christmas tree or a manger scene), to bring peace in almost every household on Christmas, that is great and to change your mind...there isn't much I can say:
But I believe in angels for at least one day.

*I will only be a teen for another 2 months, but I am a big fan of Dopey Dope so I continue to post here.*
