*Note: this poem is best when read slowly*

Midnight

The sky cried out
with rain of fire,
then shut her eyes
and began to tire.

She laid her head
upon the moon,
and listened to
the raven's tune.

She settled in
and came to sleep,
another night
when none shall weep.

~Alicia

Thanks for reading! This is just a short little something I popped out while watching Saturday morning cartoons, not supposed to be anything spectacular, but I hope you enjoyed the read! All comments welcome.

Thank you! I was hoping to get a nice picture painted here, and I'm glad to hear I did. I appreciate the comments.
