Clouded lights beckon and call
to leave the warm hole
I call my home
to wander in the midnight cold
amongst the whispers of the wind
and naked hands of winters bringing
frosted lips awaken
lifes hynotic dance of love and loss
that plays amongst the drifting snow
with glee against the biting chill
of the sleeping monster awoken
from its deep slumber
dreams of terror and fear
of what may have been
it's yesterday

*~* I co-wrote this one with Andrew (Marshalzu), and he insisted that I post it even though he did all the revising cause our styles clash way muchly *grins* Anyway, thank you muchly Andrew, for the opportunity to tap into your poetic genius

It's been a pleasure to write this poem with Rhonda, our styles clashed at times and they have been blended slightly to make the poem less choppy than it was. Rhonda has this wonderful skill of being very spontaneous leaving me wondering where she was going to take the poem next. I'd like to thank her muchly for putting up with my tinkerings.

Whose idea was the title?  That's all I want to know...

LOL @ Jen!

Rhonda and Andrew~
I've read this several times now and of course
you both already know that I love it.
It gets more beautiful with each read though.
You two did a wonderful job on this and I'm
truly impressed with the outcome.
AND...*pats self on back*...I was able to tell
who wrote which lines!  Go me!
Anyway..I'd love to see you do this again sometime.
Great team work.
Hugs,
~Vicky
