Your hands are cold,
As you bring them over my eyes,
I can tell it's you,
From the sweet smell,
That follows you everywhere.
You bring your mouth a little closer,
To my ear,
And say in that voice of yours,
You have a pretty mouth.
If I didn't know any better,
I'd take you seriously,
But I know better,
I wish I didn't though,
Because there's something about,
The way you touch me all the time,
The way you act like you're interested,
But you're not,
You never will be,
And I guess I can live with that.

This is a really good piece... I think we've all been there with someone who likes to play games but don't really want to be wtih us. At least you know not to mess with them.. just let them go, you'll find someone great soon!

hey,
i really like this, i think everyone has been there, but what is unique about your poem is that it isn't overly dramatic and whiny. ya know what i mean? people who are like "i can't live without that person" blah blah blah. i just think it's cool that at the end you're like meh, whatever. thanks for the read

there was just something about this one that got to me. i really really liked it. going to my library. almost gives off a very delicate feeling if that makes sense. but newho, yes yes..great read

A lot of chilly, gooey feelings in this poem. Gave me that nice feeling in my tummy.
