my legs are never still they are breathing lungfuls of lucid air illicit some might say but then they are not stagnating like some others in view cirling around marked circles over and over again flipping coins to see what their day shall bring heads it will snow tails it shall rain either way it shall be congruently cold so I walked my walk while you talked your talk my rapid eyed movement your inertia-ringed smoke what in the big wild world made us tick even a small while for you and me are like the two who shall never meet no wonder the story of us had a cold ending like everyone else had predicted (heads or tails) a guess that I didn’t make maybe I was blinded by the light that was you or maybe it was because that’s the way I am – dark: walking my walk and taking my chances with the sun come rain or come snow come pain, fast or slow (and then maybe glow) |
