I grew to know november
while pulling down the sky
and chasing into shadow
autumn's shift-- it's slow decline
revealed in sweet surrender
reflected in the eyes of wind swept inspiration
tossed upon night

I love this. Many poems that say much in only a few words are among my favourites. This even made me feel favourably toward November - that doesn't happen often.

Well done

Truthfully, I struggle through November, December, jan, feb and March.  But I didn't struggle with Autum's Shift. It is quite beautiful and If I may add, so is its Author.

Excellent work again, H. I can feel my breath coming out in silent smoke under the eves of the trees beyond the frame of this poem.
