One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine On that evening it's at Nan's place that I will dine She said she will cook something up for me to eat If I can stay awake, that would be lovely and neat Emails are flying forth and back, information exchanged The trips to Philly and Washington DC are arranged She's coming too and will be travelling with me That should be fun, I'm getting all so exited here see My hubby is bragging he won't miss me, when he's alone Ha, I'll bet when I come back he's just skin over bone Nah...he's a great cook so he will do real fine I guess But a housekeeper? No, so the house will be a mess And Mushy, don't worry, I'll call you on time my dear When my train is rolling in, you'll get real busy I fear But who knows, maybe I'll hook some nice big fish Then I'll cook it and serve a delicious fishy dish For all those who will join us at the gathering weekend I have only one warning, so pay attention dear friend When you're asked if you want to share a room with me Just SAY NO, because I snore loud and terrible you see I think I'll hide somewhere at night where nobody can hear Otherwise you lot will have a morning headache I fear We probably will have, from all the booz and late night night But who cares, when poets meet, it's just a pretty sight Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |

  (giggles in delight) Yeah, that's right, who cares, every word and laugh is nonsense but you understand it and that is the beauty of poets meeting! (kiss on cheek) I wish I could meet you too, sweet friend, this is a wonderful heartfelt poem of excitement, we all love you so much! I'm still hoping I can go, Titia... My leg hurts something awful and I had the bone scan yesterday. We had a talkative tech...and he was showing us where the hot spots were and weren't. There's one on my right knee which I know isn't cancer...its from an old injury and my left thigh...which is hurting me... when he saw that he said... oh yes, there is definitely something there... but he said that bone metasteses usually look solid and black and this looked more diffused...like a cloud almost.... So things still look pretty indefinite right now. On Tuesday, or Wednesday... I should be hearing from my doctor, but one of the radiologists told me that they probably would do an MRI because right now, they can't figure out what it is...but I can hardly walk at all now, so I need to get this fixed before I can travel...and time is running out. It will probably take a couple of weeks to get an MRI scheduled...so I am going to have to push people around a lot this week. Fortunately...I am quite good at doing that. So... I am still hoping that my pushiness will get me there to see you...  ~ hoping to see you in Florida hugsLyra |

Michael... We'll just have to get her some of those strips you put on the outside of your nose, to keep you from snoring... that way you won't get all of those old Tampaxers mad. I sure would hate to see a mad Tampaxer  Lyra |

Dear friends, all good wishes accepted, all good advice noticed, I'll share my knuffels with anybody (sorry Deer, but I've safed some special knuffels for you, so don't you worry)and yes, I'm planning to have a lot of fun!
