I often sit and ponder Why I have been so blessed With love and health and happiness While many are depressed They may resent their lot in life And count their blessings few And fear that life has passed them by And don't know what to do Whenever I am thrown a curve In this great game of life I reach out far and grab that ball And play with all my might So don't sit 'round complaining Of that which you have not Just get out there and make it yours By giving your best shot Some may have more advantages But this I know is true If you've got a sense of humour They're not as rich as you Your life is what you make it So try my recipe Enjoy in life the simple things, God's gifts to us----and free! |
