A Journey

Have you ever shopped a store?
Where dreams await behind a door.
And think which one you’d like the most
Like choosing candy from a host.

Have you ever dug so deep?
You could not find the bottoms reap.
Nor could you center out the core
A well you dug in evermore.

Have you ever tried to hold a scent?
Pick a flower and hold its vent
Remember all the tone of weld
The entire nuance that it held.

Do I strain the thoughts periphery?
The omnibus and mystery
Do you vacillate a claim?
For that is really not my aim

It’s just to let you know it’s there
A journey that we all must dare

Sy -- what a great way to start my day!!!

Our journey is always filled with questions and surprises. And that's what makes life so interesting.

Hey Sy, I had one of those dictionary's too....it was three and a half feet thick...I gave it to this friend of mine that does redneck crossword puzzles....(guess it was a little different version than yours)

And when asked, "What did you have for breakfast Enchantress?"
She answered, "Why some of Sy's wonderful poetry of course...
and I loved every morsel!"

Do I strain the thoughts periphery?
The omnibus and mystery
===========================

You dont strain it...you offer it up poetically and allow us the view thru you...
and anytime we can see thru your eyes of wise..we end up with the prize.

and as for that journey....
I'd follow you anywhere

I guess all I have ever found
were the bargain basement hounds
but if you see the pedigree
on such a store as this to see
then know that I shall succumb
and shop til I drop on my bum...
