Between the Lines

Slow Man's Land

It took me by surprise, the question,
the dance, the closeness in the hands
of my first love.
I eased into his tempo,
felt the movements unwind my thoughts,
as time was lost beyond the spins
and I was caught in the
slow-going of this man's land.

This was great!  You took the suggestion and ran to a place where I stood watching you.

Nothing means more to me than faith,
family and my friends.

This is like looking through an eyepiece at the facets of diamond...

this sparkles with romance that is you, Maureen. A wonderful glimpse, full of spark and light!

Romantic in the real sense. For a moment, I was a young man again.
