Take me where the fern does grow
lift me on a breeze gentle blow
Sooth my pains in waters clear
remind me of events I hold so dear

Travel my mind with memories fine
leave behind the hurts of mine
Forgive me of  things which I’ve done
thank you for the life I have run

Take me up to mountains high
on eagle wings to brush cobalt sky
Upon vast seas, set me afloat
a dragonship sailing in times remote

When time does come for me to go
let it be when the rainbow does glow
For if there is a smile left behind
I could ask no more in gentle remind

Not too soon, please, for I have much to do
many a task left to pursue
But in the times when life gets slow
take me where the fern does grow

Logan

A shady glen with fern therein
the comfort ground of needles soft
the dappled light is on this place
a perfect spot to feel such grace

A lovely poem, with a touch of sad and weary.  Hugs, dear friend!

Ahh, Martie, very gentle smile...twas just a ramble of different sorts of breeze blown thoughts, but your addition is lovely as always is, so thank you for that

(sigh) This is sooooooo beautifully bittersweet, sweet friend, this is a very powerful piece and I know deep down with all my heart you will soar high above the mountains and you will hover with grace always like an eagle to your dreams! (big hugggssssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Logan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

You make this seem so lovely,
we almost miss the final message
which I hope, in your case,
won't come about for quite awhile...

gentle smiles...

Logan, we miss you here...
please say you will stop by more often?
I tried to choose a line or two, or my favourite stanza, but to no avail...
you see, I would have had to copy the entire piece out here....
this is filled with wonderful sentiments.
Come sit by the fire with me for awhile.
*Hugs to you gentle man*

Logan~ Mmm...I've missed your words.  They're like a warm blanket of comfort...so soft and cozy.  Although this was a sad piece, it was also thoughtful and touching.  And I love ferns!

*hugs*

Logan,  I have never thought of it that
way...Where the Fern grows....but,  thinking
about it....such a peaceful and tranquil
place it brings to mind...

Thank You for this..
