The warmth of heart then made of ice a feeling once ‘gain breaking twice A tear of fall that tumbled down as lips did curl and bring to frown Love felt upon the vast of plain of tumbleweeds and missing rain Desert winds drying saddened tears Cast out the heart a thousand fears Beyond the sea and mountains high toward a place where bridges lie A heart in walk and wait of love a vision born from yon above. Eyes of gleam that cast a spell do shine of that they know so well A vision of a dream of night beheld by stars, the cosmos bright Till fires of hearts do warm in glow and whispers tell of what they know Love shall journey across the land in search of maiden’s soft warm hand [This message has been edited by Magnus (05-05-2002 01:55 PM).] |

Love felt upon the vast of plain of tumbleweeds and missing rain-- I was just explaining to JM...(Janet Marie) that once in awhile I read something that makes me say "HELL YES" out loud. (guess who just startled the family again?)  Absolutely loved this...and the two above lines are a poem all by themselves. |
