the pickup is our villa there
under the oak tree on our road
the dirt one with the ruts
that makes you fall into me
when I drive wrong on purpose

when you wear your skinny cotton
and no shoes, and no secrets under
and we spend someday sometimes
with the doors open wide
and the radio playing songs

that no one knows
but we have memorized
it seems they always come on
before and after, and
when you are just laying on my lap

looking up at me eyes
and I am drawing circles there
making finger jewels on your skinends
not that you need any decortations
more then those you have

that were made for you in heaven

in her hair
after he hums
mid-day songs
on a never stop

Dark - This is why my foreverman turns too sharply on country roads. So that I slide over to him and our lips catch each other like two forgotton already-licked lollipops.
Loved this, Chris

(smiles) Awwwwww, this is sooooo beautifully romantic, sweet friend, I just love that thought of memorizing the lyrics to songs never played on the radio that only heartbeats can produce! (big hugggssssss) This is such a beautiful poem as always, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Damn! I need an extended holiday like this. Loved th' poem, as always. And as a bonus, it made me think of the Cure's "Just Like Heaven," one of the best winter summer songs ever! OOo, inspiration.
