I watch the Weather float before my eyes
It's moods are painted in the sky, the wind
and the clouds
Spring is an artist,
dabbling in shades of gray, blue, and white,
using the weather's unpredictable emotions
to define the outline of the day...

Today the Weather mirrors my own unrest
Sleepy gray dawn, followed by a soft drizzle,
as I sip my morning coffee
Then hail rains supreme,
matching my frustration,
as I think about those dishes still waiting,
left from last night's gluttonous feast...

But, dishes done, bed made, and my mood
is suddenly lightened,
as the sun breaks through and a sweet bird's song
searches and finds my appreciative ears
This afternoon is mine, all mine,
as my dog and I venture out,
into the Weather...

The music is playing...the dance begins

Makes me think of waking up to some coffee and the rain takking on the overhang. Thanks for that.
