The miracle of rebirth is April's gift.
Sunbeams play through lacing of leafy canopy.
Birdsong heralds this mornings kiss of Spring.
The Dogwoods a profusion of pink and white flora.

The earth proclaims a silent symphony of Joy,
only if the ears of the heart can hear
this quiet melody of earth's rejoicing.
Promise of our Lord ever a whispered hope,
that death passes through the dark nights,
and His rebirth of soul and earth
becomes a silent song of spring within.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.
