This Time Untitled

Heavy in thought,
the heat of the day pressing me on
mixing with the sweat of expectations.

I remember the day we first met,
how I tucked my thoughts away from you.
Today, they begin as runaway moments
uncontrolled, as I try to rest,
close my eyes
but see you behind my lids.
Tender looks
from eyes the color of heaven,
staring into mine.
Their piercing effect winning.
You are a work of art to me,
my own abstraction,
a poem within my heart
constantly being rewritten.

I dream dance against the tall of you
feeling your sway into mine,
painting the picture in shades of gray
to fit my mood.
I say it in words, my thoughts for you,
this time untitled, for I am lost tonight
in those blues as I unwind
the memories.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Maureen, this is sad but so beautifully written, sweet friend, I hope now your blues have been replaced now by the afterglow of new love and your thoughts are now titled with joy forever! I'll second that, these words relate your passion within, this poem needs a title, like "Shades of Romance" or "Tints of My Heart"how about one!
