Hi There !
Now I’m checking in from Vancouver,
To show you that I did maneuver.
See, I even caught my plane on time.
but on board my head began to rhyme.
The “da duming” wouldn’t stop at all,
I found myself beginning to scrawl.
I scrawled this note to say to you all;
it was sure fun, I had a real ball.
My room mate is gone…that is a fact,
our lifelong friendship now intact.
Each friend gave a gift of special love,
reciting poetry that they wrote of.
It was an honor to share this time,
with the wizards of Passions rhyme.
Nothing on earth will ever replace,
the fact that I have now seen your face.
The tender smiles…the twinkling eyes,
no longer is your Passion’s disguise.
I’m with Kit; I’ll pinch once, then twice,
For never have I met people so nice. ~* Nan *~
Thank you for opening your heart and home to us. I hope we didn’t tire you out too much for going back to work today?~* Liz *~
I can’t tell you how special my time was with you, and I will treasure our time “cuddled up like two giddy school girls watching a favorite movie” always. Love to you and your wonderful, dear family.~* To the rest of you scoundrels *~
I love you guys’ big time and don’t you ever forget it! Kit
, give me a break - it is 1:20 in the morning here, that is 4:20 in the morning over there, and so it doesn’t have 9 beats to the “da dum”
I dare you to come on a plane and get me...
How's this for a greeting when I got home, all I could hear at the top of the escalator was this screaming child yelling, "Grammmmmmmmmmaaaaa", then I saw her running with balloons for me!
To quote Dorothy, "There's no place like home!"
