The years pass by uncounted but the minutes I know by name each second since I’ve loved you no measurement is the same The time it took to make a star means naught to me you see for in that star I find the love that I wish you had for me We’ve subdued the jungle beasts but my heart will not be tamed I’ll not hold back a nanosecond and thus said, I feel ashamed This love took not a moment to find a home within my heart I do not know when it will end nor am I sure when it did start The clock held within my heart doesn’t count time in normal space it’s measured in the times I’m held within your loving embrace |

This love took not a moment to find a home within my heart I do not know when it will end nor am I sure when it did start ------------------------------- I know the date my love began, Could probably guess the minute But no longer can I imagine life My love, without you in it. So I suspect both love and life Will end simultaneously... The time when air doesn't enter my lungs Is when this love will cease to be. You sparked a snoozing muse, PDV... hope you don't mind her contribution. *S* This is so very beautiful and tender... and timeless. *S* Into my library it goes! |
