Poet Drink Me

taste  the wine divine  within
this cup drink up. Toast my eyes

In liquid sighs, my lips in tasty
delicate sips.Take from the rim
my softest kiss then drink of this
place your lips there with such
care, breathe across the liquid
spill of loving thrill. Touch
lip to rim and sip me in
take me unto you
in thought of

true. Lift
me up
in cup
of ruby wine
with taste
sublime
I am
drink
of poets
ink. The
thought
sought
that
flows
just glows
with richest
red into your
head. Come drink me

Krissy

this is dedicated to my favourite poets
I love you poetic aunts uncles, cousins and sisters
Thank you for you inspiration always
And for my mum I say THANK YOU I love you always
I’m still winning though

And while thy willing soul transpiers
at every pore with instant fires

Gosh, Krissy, I aways knew your mom was awesome. So I guess God knew it too. And decided to keep her a bit longer by creating you. Reckon? Although God did have a bit more exerience in making wonderful women when he made you. Shhhh. Don't let her here me. She might be jealous. Hehe.. You are  fantastic, Krissy. Keep writing! And drawing!

What a wonderful creation this is...

You and your poetry are so shapely!  Your words are beautiful, Krissy, and as long as there are those who thirst for poetic wine, there will be poets to fill their cups.  May yours overflow....

Well well well....deep, aren't you?   Now I challenge you to do a poem in the form of an inkwell...I would think someone with all of this talent would find that easier to do than snapping beans...

and oh by the way, did I say I like this?  Very much so!  Keep it up!
